All of our jewellery is thoughtfully handcrafted to order, especially for you.
Creating each piece to order allows us to craft your jewellery in your chosen metal, size and gemstone combination, while giving every piece the care and attention it deserves.
Our production timeframes vary depending on the piece and precious metal you choose.
Sterling silver and 9ct gold items take approximately 2 - 3 weeks to be handcrafted before they are shipped.
Engagement pieces, wedding bands (14ct, 18ct gold), bangles and tennis bracelets take approximately 6 - 8 weeks to be handcrafted before they are shipped.
You'll find the estimated production timeframe for your chosen piece on its individual product page. Please keep in mind that shipping timeframes begin once your jewellery has completed production and has been dispatched.
Production times are subject to change during Sale periods or during the holiday season, so please refer to your order confirmation email for up to date production times, or contact out team via email at: info@hlsk.com.au

Zip Pay is available for purchases up to $1,000 AUD, subject to individual approval and the customer's available Zip Pay credit limit.
For larger purchases, Zip Money offers credit limits generally ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 AUD, with higher limits potentially available through selected merchants. Approval and available limits are determined by Zip.
Available payment options will be displayed at checkout.
Eligibility, spending limits, fees and repayment terms are determined by the individual payment provider.
Have a special date in mind? Please get in touch with us before placing your order and we'll happily see what may be possible.
As every piece is handcrafted, we can't always guarantee an earlier completion date, but our team will always do their best to accommodate special occasions where production allows.
Ring sizing
We know finding the perfect ring size can be a little tricky!
For the most accurate fit, we recommend having your finger professionally sized at our Armadale boutique or by a reputable local jeweller.
Our fingers naturally fluctuate throughout the day depending on things like temperature and activity, so it can also be helpful to measure your finger more than once.
If you’re still unsure, please get in touch before ordering and we’ll happily help.
We have great news! We offer a complimentary resize on all new purchase rings within 30 days of delivery. Any resizes outside of this timeframe, or any additional resizes, will incur a fee starting from $35 AUD plus postage.
To obtain a resize form and book in a resize, please get in touch with us via the contact page or email us at: info@hlsk.com.au
Of course! Our rings are listed using Australian/UK sizing, but if you know your US or international ring size, our team can help you find the closest equivalent.

Metals, Diamonds & Gemstones
Yes! Our jewellery is lovingly crafted in 9ct, 14ct or 18ct solid gold, or sterling silver, depending on the piece you choose.
A small selection of our chains are made from 14ct gold-filled material. We’ll always clearly note this on the individual product page, so you can feel confident knowing exactly what your special piece is made from.
The biggest difference is simply the amount of pure gold within each alloy.
9ct gold contains 37.5% pure gold, 14ct gold approximately 58.5%, and 18ct gold 75%.
Each option has its own lovely characteristics and subtle differences in colour, composition and price. If you’re torn between them, our team would be more than happy to help you choose.
We work with both natural and lab-grown diamonds across our collections.
You’ll always find the diamond origin noted within the individual product description, and if you’d like to know a little more about a particular stone, just ask - we’re always happy to chat diamonds!
Yes! Our gemstones are natural and individually hand-selected, meaning each one has its own beautiful variations in colour, tone and character. Making your special piece wonderfully unique to you.
For selected Diamond styles, you may have the choice between a natural or lab-grown Diamond. Wherever a lab-grown Diamond option is available, this will always be clearly noted on the individual product page.
Yes. We take great care in choosing where our Diamonds and gemstones come from and are committed to sourcing our stones responsibly.
We work closely with trusted, established Diamond and gemstone dealers who share our commitment to responsible and transparent sourcing. Our suppliers are members of the American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) and work within recognised industry standards for the sourcing and disclosure of gemstones.
All of our Diamonds and gemstones are sourced through reputable suppliers and are conflict-free. Where applicable, our Diamonds are also accompanied by grading and certification from internationally recognised gemmological laboratories, such as the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or the International Gemological Institute (IGI).
Just as we carefully consider the craftsmanship that goes into each HLSK piece, we believe it’s equally important to thoughtfully consider the journey of the beautiful stones we select for you.
That’s one of our favourite things about natural gemstones, each one has its own personality.
As natural gemstones form within the earth, their individual characteristics will naturally vary from stone to stone. Beautiful variations in colour, inclusions, markings and tone mean no two gemstones will ever be exactly alike. Your stone may therefore look a little different from the piece photographed online, making your jewellery beautifully individual to you.
Colours can also appear slightly different depending on the lighting and screen you’re viewing them on.
Salt & pepper diamonds are natural diamonds filled with beautiful, visible inclusions that give each stone its own unique character.
Rather than trying to hide these natural markings, we celebrate them. Every salt & pepper diamond is a little different, which means your piece will truly be one of a kind.
Engagement & Wedding Rings
We always recommend giving yourself a little more time than you think you’ll need, particularly when there’s a very special date involved!
Depending on your chosen design and metal, our made-to-order jewellery can take approximately 6–8 weeks to create. We also recommend allowing a little extra time before your special day to accommodate resizing, should this be needed once you receive your order.
If you’re working towards a proposal, wedding or special celebration, let us know the date you have in mind and we’ll happily help you work backwards to find the best time to place your order.
We'd love to.
Our team can help you explore HLSK wedding bands that beautifully complement your engagement ring. If your setting needs something a little more individual, we can also explore creating a bespoke wedding band specifically for your ring.
Many of our engagement ring designs can be customised, and our bespoke service is perfect for minor changes or something completely unique.
Send us a little information about what you've fallen in love with and what you'd like to change, and we'll let you know what's possible.
Absolutely - we know keeping a proposal a surprise can make ring sizing a little difficult!
Get in touch before ordering and we'll help you work out the best approach for your chosen design. Many of our rings can also be professionally resized afterwards if needed.
Engraving is available for many of our rings, depending on the design and the space available.
Whether it’s your initials, a meaningful date or a few special words, engraving is a beautiful way to add an extra personal touch to your piece.
Simply reach out to our team with what you have in mind, and we’ll be happy to confirm what’s possible and provide a quote for your custom engraving.
Gifting
We’d love to help make your gift feel a little more special.
Simply reach out to our team with your order details and the message you’d like to include, and we’ll be happy to arrange for a personalised gift message to be included with your parcel.
Our gift cards are a lovely option when you’d like to give someone something special, while leaving the very important job of choosing the one up to them.
You can choose between a physical gift card, beautifully packaged and sent to you with our usual shipping timeframes, or an electronic gift card, which is issued via email immediately - perfect for those last-minute gifts.
Our gift cards don't have an expiry date, so there's plenty of time to wait until something truly special catches their eye.
Your order will arrive beautifully presented and ready for that very exciting moment of opening - whether it's a little something for yourself or a gift for someone special.
Absolutely and you're certainly not the first person to find themselves secretly trying to work this one out!
Get in touch before ordering and we'll help you choose the best approach for your particular piece.
Additionally please keep in mind that we offer 1 x complimentary ring resize within 30 days of delivery, if your chosen size is not quite the right fit.
Jewellery Care & Cleaning
Your jewellery is made to be loved and worn, but a little extra care will help keep it beautiful for many years to come.
We recommend removing your pieces before showering, swimming, exercising, cleaning or doing anything that may expose them to chemicals or impact.
We also suggest putting your jewellery on last when getting ready, after perfumes, moisturisers and beauty products have been applied.
We know it can be tempting to never take your favourite pieces off, but we recommend removing them before showering, swimming or hopping into a spa.
Chlorine, salt water, soaps, perfume and other corrosive chemicals can affect precious metals and gemstones over time and may also compromise delicate settings.
A little regular care can go a long way in keeping your jewellery looking beautiful.
For an everyday refresh, you can gently wipe your piece with a jewellery polishing cloth to remove surface residue and help maintain its shine. Polishing cloths are readily available from most jewellery retailers.
For a more thorough clean at home, add a very small amount of mild dishwashing detergent to warm water. Using a very soft brush (a baby toothbrush is perfect) gently clean around the setting and underneath any stones to help remove any residue or build-up.
Once clean, rinse your piece thoroughly with fresh warm water and gently dry it with a plain, unscented facial tissue.
We do!
Our professional cleaning and maintenance service is a lovely way to freshen up a well-loved HLSK piece and keep it looking its best. Please get in touch with our team for current pricing and to arrange a clean.
With everyday wear, things like natural oils and other residue can gradually build up around your jewellery and gemstones. This can sometimes cause stones to appear a little cloudy or dull, but don’t worry - in most cases, a lovely clean is all they need to bring back their sparkle.
Alongside regular gentle cleaning at home, we recommend having your jewellery professionally cleaned every 5–6 months to keep it looking its best.
If you’d like to arrange a professional clean with HLSK, simply get in touch with our Customer Care team at info@hlsk.com.au and we’ll be happy to help.
When your jewellery isn’t being worn, we recommend keeping it somewhere clean, dry and protected, ideally with each piece stored separately.
Even while tucked away, jewellery can still be affected by external elements such as moisture, humidity, dust and exposure to other pieces. Storing your jewellery thoughtfully helps protect its finish and minimise tarnishing, scratching and tangling over time.
A soft pouch or lined jewellery box is perfect for keeping your pieces safe, particularly delicate chains and softer gemstones, so they’re ready to shine the next time you reach for them.
Fine jewellery is designed to be worn and loved, so little signs of your life together will naturally appear over time.
Gold and silver are naturally soft precious metals, which means fine scratches and changes to the finish are a normal part of everyday wear. Over time, these little marks can develop into a soft, natural patina that becomes part of the story of your piece.
The lovely news is that most surface scratches can be significantly reduced with a professional buff and polish, helping to restore your jewellery to near its original finish and bring back its beautiful shine.
Tarnishing can be a completely normal part of wearing and loving your jewellery and doesn’t necessarily mean there’s anything wrong with your piece.
A number of everyday factors can contribute to tarnishing, including your skin’s natural acidity, soaps, moisturisers, cosmetics, sunscreen, self-tanner, chemicals, chlorine and contact with water. How your jewellery is stored when it isn’t being worn can also play a part.
The lovely news is that tarnishing can usually be easily removed with the appropriate jewellery cleaning products or a professional clean, helping to bring back your piece’s beautiful finish.
If your piece could use a little refresh, simply get in touch through our contact form or email info@hlsk.com.au and our team will be happy to help.
Exchanges & Returns
We have great news! We offer a complimentary resize on all new purchase items within 30 days of delivery. Additional resizes (within 60 days of delivery) will incur fees starting from $35 AUD plus postage.
To obtain a re-size form, please email us at: info@hlsk.com.au
We offer exchanges of styles or store credits within 14 days of the item being delivered. Items must be unworn and their original condition to be eligible for an exchange.
Yes, items purchased online from hlsk.com.au can be exchanged at our HLSK flagship store. We offer exchanges within 14 days of delivery and the item/s must be in original and unworn condition to be eligible.
Repairs & Manufacturing Warranty
We take great care in the craftsmanship of every piece and want you to feel confident in your jewellery long after it arrives.
Pieces from our Fine Jewellery collection are covered by a 12-month manufacturing warranty against eligible manufacturing faults.
If something doesn’t seem quite right with your piece, please get in touch with our team. We’ll be more than happy to arrange an assessment with our jewellers and guide you through the next steps.
Our 12-month manufacturing warranty covers eligible faults that our jewellers determine have occurred as a result of the craftsmanship or manufacturing of your piece.
As every piece and circumstance is a little different, jewellery returned under warranty will be carefully assessed by our jewellers to determine the cause of the issue and whether it falls within the warranty.
Our manufacturing warranty is designed to cover manufacturing faults rather than changes or damage that naturally occur while your jewellery is being worn and loved.
This means it doesn’t cover general wear and tear, accidental damage, loss, improper care or damage caused by external factors.
Fine jewellery naturally requires a little care and maintenance throughout its lifetime, particularly those special pieces worn every day. Regular cleaning, checking and thoughtful care can help keep your jewellery looking beautiful and its settings secure.
If you’re ever unsure whether an issue with your piece may be covered, please reach out. Our team will be happy to take a closer look.
If you notice any damage, a loose stone, unusual movement or anything else that doesn’t seem quite right, we recommend taking your jewellery off and keeping it somewhere safe until it can be assessed.
Please get in touch with our Customer Care team with your order details and, where possible, a few clear photographs of the piece. From there, we can guide you through the best next steps to arrange an assessment.
We recommend avoiding further wear in the meantime, as continuing to wear a damaged piece can sometimes cause additional damage or place gemstones at risk.
If your piece falls outside its 12-month manufacturing warranty, or the damage isn’t considered a manufacturing fault, our jewellers may still be able to help.
Once we’ve assessed your jewellery, we can let you know which repair options are available and provide any applicable costs before proceeding with the work.
Please get in touch with our team before sending your jewellery back to us. We’ll provide you with our Exchange & Repair form, along with everything you need to safely return your piece.
If you’re local to Melbourne, you’re also very welcome to bring your jewellery into our Armadale boutique, where our team can arrange the assessment for you.
Repair timeframes can vary depending on what your piece needs and the work involved.
Once our jewellers have had the opportunity to assess your jewellery, we’ll provide a clearer timeframe along with any applicable repair costs before proceeding.
We know it can be hard to part with a much-loved piece, so we’ll always do our best to keep you informed throughout the process.
